RCIA
R.C.I.A or Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, is a program for those 18 years of age and older who are interested in learning more about their faith and/or those who wish to receive their Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation). It is also designed for those who wish to come into full communion with the Catholic church or those who wish to convert and profess the Catholic faith.
Our RCIA classes are held on Saturdays in English and Spanish from 3:00pm-5:00pm

RCIA PROSPECTIVE’S EXPECTATIONS
- Attend faithfully and punctually to the sessions every week.
- Attend faithfully and punctually to Holy Mass ALL SUNDAYS and Feast Days to keep.
- Only in case of Emergency not being able to attend Class or Holy Mass and if Absent, then absence should be justified and should be notified.
- If a person is absent for the RCIA Classes or for Sunday Mass, then the commitment is not really there, much less-it will be evident that the interest to learn more about the faith is not there, eventually readiness to receive the Sacrament/s will be questionable.
- In the sessions together, everyone should be able to learn and understand what is that we do as believers and why we do it. Should be able to understand: What is Baptism and why being baptized means; Why Holy Communion; Why Confession (Sacrament of Reconciliation), and why any believer should be Confirmed.
- To have the knowledge and desire to be Baptized; Reconciliated through the Sacrament of Reconciliation; to receive the Most Holy Communion, and to be Confirmed, knowing how beautiful and profound its meaning with the gifts of the Holy Spirit help the faith growth.
- Acquire a better knowledge of ethical and moral dimensions contained in the Catholic Faith teaching.
